Four players scattered across the bunker as live grenades land around them

Four players, one bunker, and a sky that keeps dropping grenades.

No guns in here. Grenades come over the wall with the fuse already lit. Pick them up and throw them back, lob them over cover, or dive to catch one out of the air. Last one standing wins.

Free · Plays in your browser · 1–4 players online, or add bots and play solo.

Sixty seconds of it, in motion:

Everything runs on a countdown

  • Grenades land with a random 5–15 second fuse. Holding one does not pause it.
  • A match lasts 60 seconds. Then the sirens go off, SUDDEN DEATH starts, and the drops come twice as fast.
  • Supply crates open on their own timer, or the moment an explosion cracks them.

SUDDEN DEATH: the banner flashes red and the arena fills with grenades

Controls

WASDMove
MouseAim
Left MouseHold to charge, release for a flat throw. Empty-handed: a diving catch.
Right MouseHold to charge, release for a lob over walls. Empty-handed: the same diving catch.
ShiftDash in the direction you are moving.

The catch is the heart of it. Time it right and you roll straight back up holding a live grenade. Miss and you land face-down in the open while the fuses keep ticking.

What's in it

  • Online rooms. Create a room, share the invite code, done. Pick your region for the best ping.
  • Bots that actually play. They dodge, use cover, and pick up grenades to throw back. They win rounds.
  • Supply crates. They parachute in and only open next to an explosion: Speed, Shield, Faster Charge, Cooldown Cut. The item inside can be destroyed too.
  • A camera that follows you. Close quarter view during the fight, full-arena view when you are out.
  • See-through cover. Anything hidden behind a wall shows as an outlined silhouette, so you never lose track of a live grenade.
  • Live portraits. Each player’s face is on the HUD and reacts to the match: they wince, panic, and gloat.
  • A clubhouse between matches. Spin your character, poke them to hear them grumble, and set up three avatar presets in the locker.
  • Training. A short guided course that covers the throw, the lob, the dash and the catch.
  • Rematch voting. Vote, reset, go again.
  • In English, 한국어, 日本語 and 简体中文.

The waiting room: invite code, four character cards, ready badges

Playing with friends

Hit CREATE ROOM, copy the invite code at the top of the waiting room, and send it over. Your friends paste it into JOIN WITH CODE and they're in — no accounts, no installs, no launcher. If you're short on people, add bots and start anyway.

Playing alone? Add three bots and go. It's a real match.

Result screen: WINNER banner with live character portraits and rematch votes

Three things that will keep you alive

  1. Read the number, not the grenade. A 12 can wait. A 2 cannot.
  2. Lob over cover instead of running around it. The right-mouse arc clears every wall in the arena.
  3. Don’t dive at everything. A missed catch leaves you face-down in the open for 0.8 seconds.

About

Made for GMTK Game Jam 2026 on the theme COUNT DOWN. Built in Unity 6 with Photon Fusion 2 for the networking: real host/client multiplayer, lag-compensated catches, and a custom kinematic grenade simulation instead of PhysX so every bounce is deterministic across the room. The game has kept moving since the jam; this build adds WASD and mouse controls, a follow camera, live face portraits, the clubhouse, and a training mode.

No generative AI was used. Every asset is either hand-authored for this project or a properly licensed third-party pack, all listed below.
